Cuisines of the World

In their Cuisines of the World project, AAP Wilmington students in SCEN107, Snack Science, create digital posters illustrating the relationships between global citizens and their food. This endeavor enhances students’ understanding of human culture; reveals to them how history, politics, geography, weather, and other forces shape what we eat; and allows them to appreciate the similarities and differences between others’ life experiences and their own. To bring these benefits to others, students in the course will hold a poster session, sharing their research and learnings with middle and high school students from two charter schools in Wilmington’s Community Education Building.
